Binge TV

It is no secret that I love TV. My classmates always marvel at how I find time to watch as much TV as I do. Its almost sad if it weren't so good. haha. I am known to keep up on all the TV shows and randomly reference them here or there. While I love watching TV live (as in keeping up with a show week to week) my favourite thing to do is binge on shows. Something I am known to do in the summer especially. Pick a show (or two) and watch every. single. episode. That is just what I plan on doing this summer with Parenthood (and potentially others. I am open to suggestions).

My Top 5 TV show Binges:

Gilmore Girls - This goes without saying. It should really be at the top of everyone's list. It is probably the best show ever made. I could (and do) watch this over and over again, that my friends is a sign of an excellent tv show. Its basically timeless. 

 The OC - This is your typical teen drama. I actually never saw an episode while it was on TV, then once summer decided it was about time I watched it.  Its one of those series that you can just sit down and watch show after show and not get bored or tired of the characters. Plus Seth is like my ideal guy and I have the biggest girl crush on Rachel Bilson.

 Grey's Anatomy - I didn't watch the first three or four seasons when they first came out on TV. So naturally, I had to catch up. This show has become a Thursday night ritual but it is just as fun to binge on. I love handing the seasons to a friend and asking so what part you at now. Good times. 

 One Tree Hill - I have two seasons left of this and I do not want it to end. Teenage drama and basketball, yes please. 

How I met Your Mother - The BF and I watched this on Netflix during the school year (which was probably not the best idea ever). The first few seasons are amazing then it begins to go downhill.  But unlike the other shows these episodes are only 20 minutes long which is awesome when you want to watch something quickly and don't have a ton of time.

Do, Date, Ditch

So this is a game that my friends and I enjoy playing when there are no guys around and we are just hanging out. Basically someone names three guys (people we know, famous people or characters from movies or TV shows) and everyone else has to decide which they would do, which they would date and which they would ditch. I thought it might be fun to play here. So sticking with my love of Gilmore Girls which of Rory's Three Guys would you Do, Date, Ditch?

The last first day

Hey Everyone,

So today was my last first day of high school, so of course yesterday, I had to watch the episode of Gilmore Girls where Rory starts her senior year. I was kind of disapointed to wake up and not find my mother sitting in my room waiting to wish me a happy last first day. I can't seem to find the clip on youtube to share with all of you, so you should just go and watch the entire series. Its worth it.

It was really great to see everyone again at school, I really started to miss everyone. It however felt like I had never left, the summer felt more like a weekend, then 3 months. It was back to routine which I still have to get used to. I am very happy with all of my teachers, thankfully. My two homeroom teachers are hilarious and will make being at school at 8am on a Monday morning a little bit nicer.

I really hope to do well this year, I want to have a good time and many laughs with all my crazy friends.

Sorry for the short post. There will be many more to come (and they will be more interesting with pictures, I promise.)

Photos and Tag

Heyy Everyone,

It has been just over a week into the New Year, and so far no complaints. Over the break I got some time to catch up on my blog reading, and I read some amazing blogs, with beautiful pictures. They inspired me to take some of my own. I am not very good, and I played around with my camera a bit, but I'm still kinda proud of them. I choose to do a dancer theme, because something about ballet shoes and tutus really interest me. Anyway here they are:

I really like watching old movies. The other day I watched For Keeps? with Molly Ringwald, it was cute and funny. There were some pretty epic scenes right from the start. Stan's little sister was super adorable and amusing. I recommend it for a night when you want to watch something light hearted.

I saw this Tag on The Tiffany Tree, and decided to do it, it looked like fun.

The Rules:
1. First, state the rules.
2. State four talents that you happen to possess.

Talents- I'm not the most talented person, I don't play any instruments or do anything special, but here goes:
1. I can pretty much recite any episode of Gilmore Girls to you.

2. I am very good at Dominoes, much better then Monopoly.

3. Can biology be a talent? As in the course... If not I'm making it one.

4. Baking chocolate chip cookies. The secret is to under cook them, so they are chewy and taste more like cookie dough

Random Facts (I always blank on these, sorry if there are any repeats):

1. I can't stand it when my nail polish chips. I have to take it off right away and redo it. I hate looking at my nails when they are all chipped. The really sad part is that I didn't have this until I was reading a magazine and I think Hillary Duff's pet peeve was chipped nail polish, and for some reason after that I was like wow, I really hate it when my nails chip. Now I have spent way too much time on this subject.

2. I have an American Girl, even though I am Canadian. I was a doll person. I loved to dress her, and I used to take her around with me everywhere. I got her to look like me and everything.

3. I didn't cry during the Notebook. I am one of the only girls I know who didn't. I really didn't find it that sad. I don't really cry during movies, I cried in Finding David's Heart (some TV movie) and in Titanic. I tend to cry more in books.

4.When I have nothing better to do I bake cookies, cakes, pies or muffins, then I proceed to eat them all. Seriously the fact that I am not 500 pounds surprises me on a daily basis.

Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2

Heyy Everyone,

!Warning Contains Spoilers!

I went to see the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 the other day. I personally didn't like it at all. It ruined the books for me, since they put the last 3 books into the one movie, it made the girls stories seem rushed and incomplete. Some characters were missing such as Carmen's love interest Win and her step brother and sister. Lena's sister Effie wasn't in the last movie, however she was in this one. They left out Eric, so Bridget had no love interest through out the story. Lena's grandmother never comes to stay with them and Kostso doesn't come back before he finds out his girlfriend back home is pregnant, as well as Lena and her father never fight about her going to art school. Bridget goes to see her grandmother, but she doesn't pretend to be someone different, and she doesn't meet her childhood friend and fall back in love with soccer. Carmen never looks after Lena's grandmother, nor does she go through a hard time with her mother's pregnancy like she does in the book. Tibby's sister never falls out of the window, she doesn't make her movie about her mother or Bailey. All four of the girls do not go to the beach house or to prom. That was a really long and detailed way to say that a lot was left out. Since so much was left out stories they had to be altered and changed. We didn't get to see the struggles that the girls went through to in their fullest and the strong emotions that were in the books just wasn't there. I know that the movie is never as good as the books, but this was really disappointing. I am sure it would be a good movie if you never read the books. The acting was all really good, the only problem I had was that Alexis Bedel will always be Rory Gilmore to me. A lot of what she said reminded me of Rory. Oh well that's what I get for being a Gilmore Girl fanatic. The best part of the movie was when all the girls were together in Greece, it was beautiful there.

I'm not sure if this is from when the first movie came out. But I was having trouble finding pictures of Alexis and Amber so I decided to throw it in.

Many of you are aware of Post Secret, well now there is this really cool thing going on for teens where they submit their story in only 6 words. You can check it out here. Some of these 6 word stories are extremely cool, and really tell you a lot about the persons life. It is amazing what you can say with only 6 words.

Here is some that I thought up (though they really reflect my life completely): Stupid decision. Some mistakes. No regrets. The second one I thought up was: The boy didn't deserve her tears.

but there was no Kirk...

Heyy Everyone!
So I have been in driving school this past week, which explains my slight lack in posting. I have been learning all about becoming a good driver, it was pretty dull, but I know that it's important. I can't wait for the in-car lessons (the fun stuff!). Plus the girl to guy ratio in the class was pretty unbalanced there were like three guys to every girl, that didn't hurt.

I have finally gotten the third book to the Twilight Series. It is Eclipse. I am not finished it yet, I am about half way through and I am loving it. I like it better then New Moon for sure. There is going to be a Midnight Masquerade In-Store Event, for when Breaking Dawn comes out. I am thinking of going with a bunch of friends for fun, if I do, and I wear a mask I will post it here later. I think I might make a mask, I made one in grade eight for an art project, but I don't know where it is now, so I'll have to make another.

Now don't get me wrong I love Blake Lively and Gossip Girl, but honestly what is she wearing? It looks like a grey night gown to me.

Yesterday my friend and I went to "Stars Hollow" the fictional town from Gilmore Girls. She lives were the first few episodes were filmed, so we had to go and take some pictures. If you are not a huge Gilmore Girl fan, that is what my post title is referring too. The fact that there was no crazy towns people.

So this was Luke's. I don't know if you can see them but on the step are our "Luke's" coffee cups. Ya we're cool.

This is Lorelai's and Rory's house. I pretty much freaked out when I saw it.

I have been busy finding Canadian Designers to feature, and I have quite a few now, so expect posts! Today I am going to feature lily + jae.

It is designed by Jude Feller, who is a self described Tomboy, which you would never guess by the clothes. They are all very cute, and girly. As soon as I saw the pictures I loved them. They are designed for the prototypical girl next door. lily + jae has been seen on stars such as Lily Allen and Amy Smart. Here are some of my favourites:

This sweater looks so comfortable and it is really cute. I am also loving the red flats.

I am in love with the trench coat. I want it, no need it. I love the red heart on the collar, I think its so cute.

Some wide leg pants, I really like the colour, its different and very pretty. I am also loving the bag.

Hi Everyone,
Life has been crazy! I have been very busy with school, exams are in less then 2 weeks. Since I have not had a lot of time to blog, I decided to put sometime aside to blog today :D! There is a lot I want to blog about. Since I am going to be very busy the next few weeks I will not be blogging again until after exams, so around mid June. I went to a wedding this weekend, the groom was from France, I wish that they decided to get married in France instead, but the bride had more family and friends. All of the visitors from France had such amazing style.
Anyway as always on with the post...
It was my Sweet Sixteen about a week ago now. I can drive look out! I had a party with all of my friends it was a lot of fun. I had a very Rory Gilmore birthday. I wanted something small with all my close friends.

This was the feather boa, crown and ring that I wore.

This is the cake that I wanted except for the 2 would be a 16. I didn't get it. My cake wasn't nearly as fancy but it tasted good, so I guess that's what really counts right?


I got this Guess bag as a gift and it sort of looks like the one that Eva Longoria Parker was spotted wearing


Gossip Girl Season final is tonight! I will be watching it tomorrow or later tonight on line as I do not have CW.

I love all of their style, I really like Blake Lively's as well as her character Serena's.

Michelle Trachtenberg has been doing such a good job as Georgina that I am starting to hate her.

Okay so I have major writers block! I have been racking my brain about what to post about next for days, and I have nothings, hopefully I will get some ideas soon. So you will have to listen to me ramble for a while. lol. Anyway it has been snowing a lot still here. I have my fingers crossed for a snow day tomorrow. It is almost as if all the snow we haven't gotten in the past few years decided to come this year. I love the snow but hate the cold, what can I say I'm weird. There hasn't been any talk of if its going to be a white or green Christmas this year. Well I should get back to my piles of homework, I could be really lame and say it is piling up almost as much as the snow, but I'll save myself the humiliation.

Random aspects of my life that i feel compelled to write about :P

Heyy Okay so my life is pretty boring! We just finished school :D I AM SO HAPPY FOR SUMMER!!! so right now i am reading Moby Dick. I'm only on like the first page but so far it isn't bad. I got the second season of Gilmore Girls on DVD so its been hard to pry me away from it. Ya im a MAJOR fan.. Oh and i would just like to apologize now for my horrible grammar and spelling BUT HELL ITS SUMMER!!! I love the fact that i have almost nothing to write about yet i just keep on typing lmaoo!! i Really want to go shopping i haven't been in soo long. My friends and i have decided to make this the best summer of our lives (whatever that means.. they decided to not me.. I'm just being a follower!!) so were going to hang out together more!! i no it sounds funn doesn't it.. I really really really want to see Pirates 3, Knocked Up and some other movies. I am also really into old movies right now. so my friends and i are having a movie night once a week to get them all in. :D I love summer plans. I love trips to the beach and all the cute clothes. My family goes camping every summer with like 4 other families and that is always fun. unless it rains. Anyway this post was quite pointless and I'm sorry to have wasted your time as well as mine! LOVE BELLE! <3

SPA NIGHT

well with exams coming up, and me all stressed out, i have decided to take a small break from studying (okay well 2 this is a break!) and tonight I am going to have a Spa Night, to do something for myself. I am going to put on Gilmore Girls and paint my nails, do some yummy facial masks, and eat some icecream. Maybe I'll have a gab fest with with one of my friends. It shall be funn <3

Another Gilmore Girl Day

Okay so ever since Gilmore Girls ended I have been very depressed. Tuesday nights will never be the same. I still watch it almost everyday (5pm on the W channel or on DVD) but its still not the same. My friend and I have decided to make ourselves a Gilmore Girl challenge. We are going to read every book Rory has read and watch every movie that the girls have. We are going to watch all the seasons in true Gilmore fashion... that means LOTS of JUNKFOOD!!! Yummy. anyway anyone who wants to join in please feel free.

Heyy!

It was such a nice day today.. however i am stuck with loads of homework and exam prep!! ArrG! Im in one of those weird moods where i want to do nothing and feel like crying. hate those. I should say that i want to do nothing productive because i want to sit around and Watch Gilmore Girls all day and night, however i cant. Must get SOME work done. anyway not really a produtive post... i blame it on my mood :P! It feel as tho everyone has turned aganist me and all my friends are gone. sad i no.. i will go wallow somewhere else.
